Hollywood Beach Broadwalk
The complete guide to riding the 2.5-mile oceanfront path by e-bike. Routes, food stops, parking, the best times to ride — from the team that delivers e-bikes here every day.
What the Broadwalk is — and why it's perfect for an e-bike
The Hollywood Beach Broadwalk is a 2.5-mile pedestrian and bike path that runs right along the Atlantic, lined on one side by restaurants, ice cream shops, beach bars, and small hotels, and on the other by the open beach. There's a dedicated bike lane separated from foot traffic, an 8 mph speed limit, and zero cars — it's one of the few stretches of South Florida coastline where you can ride the entire shore unobstructed.
The great thing about pedal-assist e-bikes is that you control how much help you want. Ride one like a regular bike, or dial in any of four assist levels — break a sweat only if you want to. Stop for lunch, ride three miles north, double back for sunset, all without arriving sweaty. From our delivery base in Dania Beach, riding to the Broadwalk and back is about a 10-mile round trip — long enough to feel like a real ride, short enough that the e-bike keeps it relaxing.
That's why our rentals span everything from a quick 2-hour cruise to multi-day stays — same path, totally different days depending on how long you keep the bike.
How long should you keep the bike for the Broadwalk?
2 hours for a quick middle-stretch cruise. 4 hours to ride the full 2.5 miles with a coffee or lunch stop. 8 hours to add a detour into the state park or quieter neighborhoods. 24 hours to catch both the lively late-afternoon Broadwalk and the quiet sunrise version the next day.

The best time of day to ride
Sunrise (6:30–7:30am)
Coolest, quietest, most photogenic. The Broadwalk feels almost private. Best for couples and anyone who wants the path mostly to themselves. Coffee shops along the way open early.
Mid-morning (9–11am)
Easygoing window for relaxed riders. Beach is filling in but the path is still calm. Good visibility, comfortable temperatures most of the year.
Late afternoon (4–6pm)
The Broadwalk's social peak. Music spilling from restaurants, the post-beach happy-hour crowd, golden-hour light on the water. Lively without being chaotic. Our most-booked window.
Sunset to early evening
Watch the sun set behind the buildings (it sets to the west, not over the water — but the sky lights up beautifully over the Atlantic). Stay for dinner at one of the oceanfront spots. Path stays open after dark; lights are good.

Practical info, before you go
Parking
Public lots and metered street parking on Surf Road and the east-west side streets off A1A. Lots fill by mid-morning on weekends in season. If you book an e-bike delivery to your hotel or Airbnb, parking isn't your problem — we bring the bikes to you.
Weather
South Florida sun is no joke. Bring sunscreen and a water bottle even on cooler days. If a storm rolls in (common in summer afternoons), the Broadwalk has plenty of covered restaurants and shops to wait it out. Light rain doesn't stop us — heavy weather, we'll reschedule at no charge.
Groups & friends
The Broadwalk is built for shared rides. Flat, smooth, traffic-free, and the 8 mph speed limit means everyone stays together — no one getting dropped, no one stuck waiting. Great for couples, friend groups on vacation, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and corporate outings. Group bookings are easy — let us know your headcount when you reach out.
Accessibility
The path itself is fully paved and flat — accessible by wheelchair, stroller, and adaptive bikes. If you have specific mobility needs, let us know when you book and we'll help you choose the right e-bike (step-through frames, lower assist levels, etc.).
Want us to deliver an e-bike to your door?
Free delivery to any hotel or Airbnb in Hollywood Beach and Dania Beach. We meet you in the parking lot, hand off the bike, and you're on the Broadwalk in minutes.
